The event will be held under the control of the Hungarian Aeronautical Association (MRSZ) and is Ballooning Committee.
The purpose of the event:
- to identify the best pilot,
- to identify the Hungarian National Champion
- to help to improve the international balloon sport
- to improve friendship among the balloonists
- to fly over the lake Balaton.
The event will be held with observers, the scoring is based on their reports.
(Loggers may be used as well.)
This competition is the first round of the Hungarian Ranking System
Rulebook: based on the AXMER 2009.
Insurance: All balloons must have insurance for third parity and for passengers as it is prescribed in Hungary.
All competitors shall hold a valid pilot license, and must have at least 1 year experience with 50 or more flown hours as pilot-in-command. Teams must possess a measuring tape (20 m or longer), and a set of airband radio.
Entry fee for competitors: 48.000 Hungarian Forints (approx. EUR 160)
The entry fee contains:
- right to enter and compete on the event
- LPG for the competition
- 2 sets of competition maps
- tickets for the opening and awards banquet
- gift set
Organizers can provide accommodation with breakfast and dinner in the Hotel Stella** (competition centre) on a special price: EUR 17.30/day/person. Tourism tax included.
